Year 11 important information

Some things for young people to consider after Year 11:

  • Cardinal Langley RC Sixth Form (CLRCSF) offers a wide range of A-Level provisions. Further information on the CLRCSF website. For more information and support you can contact the school at sixth@clrchs.co.uk.
  • If you wish to start an apprenticeship or training in the workplace you can contact one of our specialist providers based in the borough, such as:
  • If you need advice on your options you can speak to Positive Steps or your school Careers Lead. Positive Steps is our ‘career guidance’ partner in the borough. They support Year 11s so you can make impartial and informed choices on your next steps in education, employment or training from September – even helping if you wish to study outside of the borough.
  • Focus on the subjects you will be studying in college or sixth form. Keep and re-read any relevant study books that may come in useful.
  • Colleges will produce supporting materials which schools will pass on to students when they are available.
  • Access additional materials such as the online classroom on the National Academy website and any relevant subject lessons on the BBC Bitesize website
  • Share your plans and ideas with friends and discuss how you can support each other through the transition period.
