If you have a food business and wish to export your products, you may be required to have a health certificate for export by the country of destination.
Apply for a food export certificate
To apply:
- Register your food business with us - if you haven't already done so. We cannot give certificates to unregistered businesses.
- Contact the embassy or consulate of the country you want to export to. They will give you the details and format required for the certificate. Search for an embassy on GOV.UK.
- Contact us and tell us the information the embassy gave you.
- We'll issue your food export certificate.

The cost of a food export certificate is £92 excluding VAT.
