Our highly qualified and experienced band leader and conductor will take you through everything you need to know about setting up a school ensemble. This course will include ideas for how to lead and structure a rehearsal, how to find suitable music to play and will also include leadership and conducting skills.
What can I do with my music trolley?

In this session we'll discuss ideas for using the instruments that most schools have on their music trolley. Whether you want to use the instruments to keep the beat, accompany a song, or perform a piece on their own, then we can help.
Singing with confidence
Duration: 2 hours

This session is aimed at anybody in school who might like to lead some singing in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Whether this is for school assemblies, a school choir or some singing in the classroom, this session will bring together lots of song ideas and will also teach you how to lead singing in your school.
How to connect music with the wider curriculum
Duration: 2 hours
Cost: £70
Aimed at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 teachers, this session is designed to get you thinking about how to connect music to the wider curriculum. We'll discuss ideas for how to incorporate music into different curriculum areas and discuss resources for some National Curriculum topics too.
Early Years' singing training package
Duration: One 30 minute session per week for 6 weeks
Cost: £125
These sessions are aimed at Early Years Foundational Stage teachers who would like more confidence delivering songs and musical games to their reception or nursery class. Our vocal lead tutor will come and demonstrate new exercises with your class and also present you with a CD of all the songs used as well as a data disk containing all the resources so you can replicate each activity.
Guitar for teachers
Duration: 10 weeks
Cost: £50 per person
This session is perfect for those wishing to be able to accompany a class on a guitar. Suitable for absolute beginners, one of our very experienced guitar tutors will teach you basic chords and songs until you reach a point where you would feel confident accompanying singing assemblies and classroom music.
