When roadworks will take place
The first stage of roadworks for the Greater Manchester Bee Network will start in October 2022. It's expected to be completed in January 2023.
Location of roadworks
Roadworks will start at the Royal Toby Hotel on Manchester Road, working south towards The Limes.
Temporary road closures
Abbot Street will be temporarily closed from Monday, 7 November 2022-Friday, 25 November 2022.
What improvements will be made?
A new car park will be created on land opposite Nixon Street and will be available from late November 2022.
The community centre in Keswick Street will also have improved parking.
