Transport Asset Management Plan
Summary

The Department for Transport have identified Transport Asset Management Plan's (TAMP) as a mechanism to determine that the respective Highways Authorities recognise and understand the value of highways. Not just as a channel for movement, but as an important and valuable asset that requires investment.

The 2017 Rochdale TAMP outlines and underpins the assets and respective services required to sustain and manage the new and existing significant levels of investment the highways and transport infrastructure provides.

TAMP is a live document and will be reviewed and updated according to the changes to the network and facilities. The 2017 TAMP identifies and brings together the RBC Highways assets, services and functions.
