Flyposting - reporting and removing
What is flyposting?
Flyposting is the term used for unauthorised display of
advertisements on street furniture. To report flyposting or for
further information please contact the Environmental Management
helpline.
Flyposting is unsightly and is now considered to be a
contributing factor to urban decay. It may also cause a visual
obstruction to pedestrians and motorists alike.
Reporting and removing flyposting
We take flyposting seriously and aim to remove such
advertisements and pass the costs of the removal on to the
advertisers. This unlawful advertising is an offence and
we will issue a £75 fixed penalty notice to all
offenders.
