Learning Disability Partnership Board

​The purpose of the Learning Disability Partnership Board (LDPB) is to bring people with learning disabilities, their family members and professionals across key public services together.

This is to help ensure a joined-up approach to developing and implementing the local Learning Disability Strategy.

The board is chaired by Councillor Billy Sheerin.

Meetings

The board meets every other month for 2 hours and receives reports.

  • Meeting dates will be listed here when they're scheduled.
  • Meetings are held at Number One Riverside.

  • Family member issues
  • Self-advocate issues
  • Service provider issues
  • Safeguarding
  • Reports from self-advocates, carers and providers
