This includes a range of open access provision such as youth clubs for all young people plus detached work, volunteering, sports sessions, Youth Council and Member of UK Youth Parliament process.

It also includes more specialised work, such as around sexual health or substance misuse, work in schools, the Youth Opportunity and Youth Capital Funds, Youth Banks, 4wheels Project and a range of arts activities including drama, dance, and music.

Youth Clubs

We offer a wide variety of activities through our youth clubs including:

  • Football sessions
  • Multi-sports sessions
  • Dance groups
  • Arts and crafts
  • Drama
  • Accredited courses
  • DVD projects
  • Music studio projects
  • European youth exchange programmes
  • Plus many more!

The Youth Service delivers some targeted provision for particular groups such as with excluded pupils, those at risk of offending, young carers and disabled young people. The Youth Service leads on Targeted Youth Support, working in partnership with schools and also provides positive activities for young people on the streets using a fleet of mobile youth facilities.
