St Peter’s
have achieved Healthy School Status, an Eco-School Award and
provide, or signpost to, the following extended services:
- School opening hours 8.50am – 3.15pm
- Breakfast Club 8am – 8.50am
- After School activities include football, netball and run until
4.30pm
- The School does not offer childcare but signposts to local
provision at the Children’s Centre and there is a walking bus
- The school has set up a community library within the building
and there are various family learning sessions delivered within the
school
- The school has a number of support workers and bi-lingual
assistants based in the classroom
- The school has good links with other schools and will be using
funding to employ an Education Welfare Officer jointly with
Springhill High School
