Mission
Statement
St Joseph’s is proud to be a Catholic School.
- We will endeavour to provide for a systematic study of our
Catholic faith and the growth of fundamental Christian concepts,
values, attitudes and actions.
- Through prayer and worship we will aim to develop our
relationship with God.
- We will provide a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated
curriculum which shows continuity and progression, allows equality
of access and serves to raise standards.
- We will value the contribution of each individual, fostering
self esteem and respect for diversity especially in cultural values
and beliefs.
- Through an atmosphere of peace and reconciliation we will
reflect gospel values in our relationships.
- We will show respect and care for the world entrusted to us by
God.
- We will be living witnesses of Christ’s teaching and
demonstrate an awareness of human need.
Extended Services
St Joseph’s have achieved Healthy School Status and provide, or
signpost to, the following extended services:
- School opening hours 8.45am – 3.15pm
- Before School Club 7.30am – 8.45am
- After School Club 3.15pm – 5.30pm
- School Council
- Extra-curricular activities offered to the children
include:
- Football, Netball, Basketball, Golf, Cross-Country, Athletics,
Cricket, Volleyball, Rounders, Choir, Judo, Dance, Keyboard, Flute,
Guitar
