Aims
- To help each child to feel secure and happy, so that they can
develop qualities of mind, body, spirit and imagination through
stimulating learning experiences.
- To increase a child’s knowledge, skills, experience and
imaginative understanding through a broad, balanced, creative and
differentiated curriculum.
- To help pupils to being to feel a social responsibility to the
community and increase their understanding of the world in which
they live, so that in the future they can be responsible, active
participants.
- To develop each child’s potential as an individual so that they
gain self-independence, self-reliance and a positive self
image.
- To develop the child’s awareness of the self, acquire moral
values in accordance with the ideas of the Christian faith and also
have an insight into other cultures, faiths and people to increase
their understanding of the world in which they live.
- To help pupils appreciate human achievements and ambitions and
to aspire themselves.
- To enable children to develop a critical and discriminatory
attitude towards their experiences, to learn to think for
themselves and to make value judgements.
