In Pursuit of Excellence
Lowerplace Primary School aims to provide a
caring stimulating environment where, in a supportive partnership
between home and school, children have the opportunity to reach
their full potential in an atmosphere of mutual respect. We are
committed to raising standards of achievement and heightening
expectations of success.
Lowerplace have achieved Healthy School Status,
an Eco-School Award and provide, or signpost to, the following
extended services:
- School opening hours 8am – 5.30pm term time only
- Breakfast Club available 8am – 8.45am (£1 per session)
- School signposts to childcare provision by displaying
information and posters about Family Information Service and local
Children’s Centres
- After school and breakfast club activities: yoga, art,
cookery, athletics, badminton, fashion club, science, netball,
basketball, football and computer club
- Lunchtime activities include judo
- Zoneparc in playground where pupils have the opportunity to
take part in activities such as dancing, ball games and team
games
- School provides various holiday activities as part of our
extended school provision
- Family Learning support is available 2.5 days a
week
