Heaton have achieved Healthy School Status,
Our aim is to provide the best possible start for our pupils as
they begin formal education. We believe pupils should be safe,
secure and confident in order to learn effectively. We are proud of
our school’s achievement and we are proud of our pupils. We expect
all pupils to contribute to school life, behave well and work hard.
Pupils are supported by a carefully structured curriculum,
delivered by experienced teachers.
We work hard to create a strong partnership with parents. We
recognise that support, encouragement and good communication
between home and school is vital. We value parental co-operation
with pupils wearing uniform. A smart and purposeful uniform enables
children to develop a sense of belonging.
Regular newsletters keep parents up to date. We also have an
active PTFA that always welcomes new parents. We are pleased if
parents want to help out in class, on visits or other events.
