Nursery units of independent schools
Nursery units of independent schools are run by the private
sector and feed into the school’s reception class at age 4. Beech
House is currently the only independent school in the Rochdale
borough with nursery provision.
Age range: 2 to 4 years
Opening hours: Term time only but nearly year
round care with holiday club provision. Open all day, sessions
available when parents require them.
Is it for me?
- It's important to me that my child mixes with similar-aged
children
- I'm close to an independant school
- I'm looking for continuity of care and am happy to take on
the financial responsibility
- I need to know there will always be someone to look after my
child - if one practitioner is sick, another can cover
- I need to know that there is full time care available if I need
it, before and after school and in the holidays
- I want my child to have access to different toys, equipment and
stimulation
- I think my child is ready for new experiences.
