Holiday clubs
Holiday clubs are run throughout the borough during school
holiday periods. Some are run by the Local Authority and
others by private organisations such as nurseries.
The opening hours and costs of holiday clubs vary. Some
provide full day sessions and others just morning or afternoons.
Places are usually quite limited and booking in advance is
recommended, especially for those that operate during the summer
holidays.

Ofsted inspections
Most holidays clubs are
Ofsted (Office for standards in education) registered (it's not
compulsory for clubs which take children above 8 years old only to
be registered although clubs can register voluntarily).
Registered clubs are regularly inspected and
a club can provide you with a copy of this report.
