Middleton Technology School
Middleton Technology School is a school that enjoys an excellent
reputation as one of the top achieving schools in the country.
The school was designated as a Technology College in 1995 - the
region's first Technology College. Since designation we have gone
from strength to strength and now find ourselves with three areas
of specialism:
- Technology
- Vocational Education
- RATL (Raising Achievement Transforming Learning)
The school was inspected in November 2006 and was found to be
outstanding in every respect. To make sure our success continues we
aim to realise the full potential of all individuals within the
school community.
To do this we will:
- Develop the talents, interests and educational hopes of all
individuals
- Help all members of the school community grow into responsible
adults who will be the leaders of tomorrow
- Make sure that every learner has 5 or more level 2
qualifications by age 16 – The 100% Challenge
- Continue the highest standards of effective learning for all
learners through excellent teaching and support by all
colleagues
- Ensure excellent monitoring and evaluation strategies are at
the heart of all we do
- Use all our resources and talents to support the global
learning community
