The British Council

The British Council offerings a whole range of resources to help children aged 2-6 learn English. These resources include courses, apps and a video series.


Lots of free online games, songs, stories and activities for children. For parents, they have articles on supporting children in learning English and videos on using English at home.

Mantra Lingua

Access over 550 books in 38 languages. Each book is read aloud in English and your home language. Each book has a video and a set of activities to help build a child's English language skills.

Collaborative Learning Project

Activities are available from the Collaborative Learning Project to encourage quality talk between adults and children at home.

The Flash Academy

The Flash Academy has online learning packs covering topics from storytelling and literacy to geography and UK culture.
