Local Development Framework - Statement of Community Involvement
Status / Progress
The Statement of Community Involvement
(SCI) was adopted on 13 October 2010 by
Rochdale Council. This
SCI
replaces the one
adopted in November 2007, and takes into account new guidelines
from central government in its review. Any person aggrieved by the
SCI
may
apply to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review
of the decision to adopt the
SCI
. Any such
application must be made promptly and in any event not later that
3 months after the date the
SCI
was
adopted.
Role of Statement of Community Involvement
This sets out how the Council proposes to involve the community
and other Stakeholders in the preparation of Local Development
Framework documents and the consideration of planning
applications.
