Springfield Park Visioning Day
The Visioning Day took place on 18 April 2009 and was organised
to provide an opportunity for park users of all ages to:
- Find out more about what is happening in the park
- Discover its historical context
- Access information about new trends and developments in park
management
- See how the park fits into the wider context of the surrounding
area
- Talk to other park users, user groups and professionals to find
out their ideas and opinions
- Discuss future plans, options and priorities for the
development of Springfield Park
- Feed back their ideas, concerns and priorities to those
involved with the development, maintenance and management of the
park.
Opportunities for children to contribute to the consultation and
visioning process were also provided. Each attendee was handed a
questionnaire and asked to complete it before they left.
