Bonfires and firework displays

Free council organised events

Rochdale borough’s skies will be set alight from Wednesday 29 to Friday 31 October 2014, with 3 bonfires and fireworks displays.

Start your winter with a bang at these free organised events:

  • Wednesday 29 October - Bowlee Park, Middleton. Bonfire lit at 7pm, firework display at 7.30pm. There will also be a family funfair.
  • Thursday 30 October - Cronkeyshaw Common, Rochdale. Bonfire lit at 7pm, firework display at 7.30pm.
  • Friday 31 October - Cherwell Avenue, Heywood. Bonfire lit at 7pm, firework display at 7.30pm. There will also be a family funfair.

We're not responsible for the organisation of events that are not being hosted by the council. Time changes and cancellation are at the discretion of event organisers and might not be able to be publicised in advance.

Remember: Wrap up in warm clothes and bring your waterproofs and wellies just in case it rains.

Be safe not sorry
