Bowlee's famous car boot sales are back for 2013
Springclean your house and turn your unwanted goods into someone
else's treasures or explore the stalls and bag
yourself a bargain.
No need to book - just turn up.
A car boot sale you can trust
The events are managed by Rochdale Borough Council. Because
it's council-run you can be sure we've done all the right checks so
you know you're buying and selling in a legal, safe
environment.
Dates of car boot sales in 2013
June: Sunday 2 June, Sunday 9 June, Sunday
16 June, Sunday 23 June, Sunday 30 June
July: Sunday 7 July, Sunday 14 July, Sunday 28
July
August: Sunday 4 August, Sunday 11 August, Sunday
18 August, Monday 26 August
September: Sunday 1 September
All events officially open from 7am and close at 1.30pm
Site opens at 6am for sellers. Buyers' car park opens from
6.30am

For last minute changes in the case of bad weather,
please phone 07812 082826.
An updated message will be recorded at 5am on the day of the car
boot to let people know whether it will be going ahead.

How to find us
Bowlee Community Park is just off Heywood Old
Road (A6045), Middleton, with excellent and easy access from the
M60 (junction 19).
For sat nav systems: Enter
M24 4SB and look out for the brown signs
directing you to the site.
Sellers info
No need to book. Just turn up and pay at the gate!
Prices for selling:
- Cars: £12
- Estate vehicles, small vans, people carriers, 4x4s:
£15
- Large transit van upwards: £20
Arrive early to get yourself a good spot!
Buyers info
The buyers' car park at Bowlee is located within the park.
£2 per vehicle to park. Car park opens from 6.30am on car boot
days.
Car parking at Rochdale Town Hall is free on Sundays but is
payable on Bank Holidays.
