Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Pennines Township) Order 2008) (Amendment) (No. 30) Order 2012 Barnes Meadows, Littleborough

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, have made an Order, the effect of which is to:-

(i)   Amend the Borough of Rochdale (Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Pennines Township) Order 2008 by inserting the following:-

Schedule No. 8.1
School Zigzag Mon – Fri 8.00 am – 5.00 pm No Stopping On School Entrance Markings
Barnes Meadows, Littleborough Lakeside Ward

The east side from a point 101 metres north-east of its junction with Todmorden Road for a distance of 31.56 metres in a northerly direction.

Todmorden Road, Littleborough Lakeside Ward

The west side from a point 155 metres north-east of its junction with Barnes Meadows for a distance of 25.56 metres in a northerly direction.

(ii)   Revoke those parts of the Borough of Rochdale (Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Pennines Township) Order 2008, as follows:-

The east side from a point 101 metres north-east of its junction with Todmorden Road for a distance of 33 metres in a northerly direction outside Stansfield Hall Primary.

Todmorden Road, Littleborough Lakeside Ward

The west side from a point 155 metres north of its junction with Barnes Meadows for a distance of 24 metres in a northerly direction outside Stansfield Hall Primary.

A copy of the Order and a map showing the lengths of roads concerned, together with the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order, may be inspected at the Office of the Service Director – Corporate Services, Town Hall, Rochdale and Littleborough Library, Harehill Park, Littleborough during normal office hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from 23 May 2012 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

The Order will come into effect on 1 June 2012.
