Williams BMW signs new 3-year deal as headline sponsor for Rochdale Half Marathon, 10K and Fun Run

Family owned prestige motor retail centre, Williams Rochdale BMW has renewed its support for Rochdale Half Marathon, 10K and Fun Run, after signing a new 3-year deal which sees the company confirmed as title sponsor of the event until 2021.

The announcement comes just weeks after registrations opened for the popular event, which is being staged on Sunday, 6 October 2019 this year. Runners will again start by Rochdale Town Hall and set out on traffic-free courses taking in town and countryside, including a stunning section around Hollingworth Lake – one of the north wests' most-popular beauty spots.

As part of the agreement the event will retain its name - Williams BMW Rochdale Half Marathon, 10K and Fun Run. Williams, based on Gorrels Way off the A627M, will help to promote the event across the region as well as having a striking presence at the town hall during the day itself.

John Connor, head of business at Williams Rochdale, BMW said:

Most importantly, it also helps raise money for some fantastic charities, including over £12,500 for Springhill Hospice last year alone. We are proud for Williams Rochdale to be the title sponsor for 2019-2021 and look forward to showcasing our innovative class leading BMW vehicles to everyone involved."

Since 2015 over 4,500 people have taken part in the event, which Williams Rochdale BMW have supported since it launched.Last year Rochdale Half Marathon.

The event is organised by Middleton Harriers, Rochdale Harriers and Rochdale Triathlon Club supported by us.

Entry for the half marathon has been reduced by £7 and there's £4 off the 10K for all 'early bird' entries received by Sunday, 31 March 2019. Enter online or find out more.
