Review of polling places and polling districts launched

11 July 2018

A sign outside a polling station.

We are reviewing polling districts and polling places and seeking your feedback. We want to know if you think we are using the most convenient places for you to vote. It would be helpful if you could give us any suggestions for alternative polling places if you feel the existing ones are not suitable.

We will be pleased to receive views from anyone, but particularly voters who live in the borough and people and organisations that have expertise in access for people with disabilities.

'Your views'

Our Elections manager, Clare Poole said: "Over the last few years, the locations where voting takes place in the borough have remained largely the same, so we are reviewing the existing situation. If anyone thinks we should be looking at alternative locations or have comments on the stations that are used, do give us your views."

To give your views, please take part in the consultation before the closing date of Friday, 27 July 2018.

The Returning Officer will make proposals to us, taking account of all the views and comments received.
