The Civic Centres in Heywood and Middleton are the premier business and pleasure venues for the area. They combine affordable prices with the very best in service. Both Civic Centres are licensed venues for civil marriages and can provide a full range of services for your wedding reception.

Middleton Civic Centre

The Middleton Suite - ideal for groups of up to 450 people

The Middleton Suite has a retractable, three section, fully curtained stage with adjacent dressing room facilities. The maple wood floor is perfect for dancing.

Ground floor access via 750mm double doors, full bar and catering facilities.

The Bamford Suite - ideal for groups of up to 150

The Bamford Suite, situated on the first floor, may be fully self contained for smaller occasions, or can be used as additional balcony seating in conjunction with the Middleton Suite for larger conferences, exhibitions, concerts or shows giving a total seating capacity of 600.

First floor access via stairs, full bar and catering facilities.

The Carroll Suite - ideal for small groups of approximately 50-60

The Carroll Suite adjoins the Bamford Suite. It incorporates a fully licensed bar ideal for the self contained smaller function. For larger functions, the Carroll Suite can be used to serve functions held in the larger suite.

First floor access via stairs, full bar and catering facilities.

The Wood Room - ideal for smaller groups between 60-100

The Wood Room offers purpose-built bar facilities in comfortable surroundings providing an excellent theatre or conference bar and pleasant informal surroundings for smaller meetings or parties.

Full catering facilities available.

Heywood Civic Centre

The Heywood Suite - ideal for groups of up to 250 people

The Heywood Suite has a fixed, fully curtained stage and adjacent dressing facilities. Its maple wooden floor is perfect for dancing with excellent supporting light and sound systems and seating can be arranged to suit a wide range of uses. Flexible screening can also be used to divide the Suite into two sections for smaller functions.

Ground floor access via 750mm double doors, full bar and catering facilities.

The Peine Suite - ideal for groups of between 30-100

The Peine Suite, situated on the first floor, may be fully self contained, ideal for smaller occasion, or can be used as additional balcony seating in conjunction with the Heywood Suite for larger conferences, exhibitions, concerts or shows giving a total seating capacity of 375.

First floor access via stairs or lift, full bar and catering facilities.

The Ashworth and Cheesden Rooms - ideal for smaller groups of between 15-35

The Ashworth and Cheesden Rooms adjoining the Peine Suite offer fully licensed bar facilities to serve functions held in the larger suite. They also provide ideal accommodation for meetings or smaller parties in comfortable surroundings.

First floor access via stairs or lift, full bar and catering facilities.

The Carr Room - ideal for smaller groups up to 40

The Carr Room, located on the first floor adjacent to the Heywood Suite, offers fully self contained dressing facilities and again offers excellent accommodation for smaller receptions or business meetings.
