Toy libraries

There are 17 toy libraries available for parents and carers in the borough:

  • One in Littleborough Library, administered by the Library Service
  • 16 in children's centres across the borough

Toys and other play resources are also available for hire to childcare professionals.

Littleborough Library

You do not have to be registered as a borrower at Littleborough Library to borrow the toys. If you have a barcoded library card from any library in the borough you can borrow the toys.  Toys can only be issued and returned at Littleborough Library.

The toys in the collection can be found on the Library catalogue but are not available for reservation.

This project has been funded by Littleborough Families Association. The association has also created a colour browsing catalogue of the collection which is available in the library.

You can become a member of the toy library at any of our Children's Centres throughout the borough.
