Discovered Treasures

Every so often we unearth undiscovered riches! Moving some filing cabinets we discovered a long-forgotten portfolio. It contained a collection of original artwork by children's artists who had visited our libraries in the 1970s and 1980s.

Have you seen the new Feature Film DVD Collection in the Wheatsheaf Library? The most regular suggestion received in the Public Library User Survey of October 2009 was to loan the latest films on DVD. Now they're here!

Middleton Junction Reading Group News

The Junction Reading Group are a group of book enthusiasts who meet once a month in the snug at The Radclyffe Arms, Grimshaw Lane on the first Wednesday of the month at seven o’clock.
