Countryside - volunteers
Why not work with one of the groups of Voluntary Wardens at one
of our countryside sites? As a volunteer you can take part in many
different activities on your interests and abilities.
Countryside conservation work such as tree planting,
hedge-laying and access improvements are popular. Some volunteers
choose to just keep an eye on their chosen site, reporting back to
the warden. Others like to be involved with organising and running
events, helping with school groups and nature clubs, or welcoming
visitors to the visitor centres. It's up to you just how much, or
how little, you wish to be involved.
We would like to hear from anyone who would like to take an
active part in looking after our countryside.
If you are interested please contact the Countryside Service
Manager using the contact details above.
