Learn Local: Making life a little less black and white

With LearnLocal you will find a variety of learning opportunities. Some of these are for leisure, some to improve the basic skills of literacy, numeracy and language and some to support entry to the workplace. These opportunities are available at various times and locations across Rochdale, Heywood, Middleton and Pennines. More advanced programmes of learning can be found at Hopwood Hall College.

Through our schools, adult education programme and Hopwood Hall College we want to encourage progression and achievement in the learning community of Rochdale and beyond.

Learning – access for all

Learn Local aims to deliver a service that is open and accessible to everyone. We believe in equal opportunities and choice for all.

We offer you the opportunity to learn at friendly, local centres throughout the Borough of Rochdale and will give you the advice you need to choose the best option for you.

Additional support is available for learners who have learning difficulties or physical disabilities. Help can also be given to learners who speak or write English as their second language. If you wish to speak to somebody in a community language contact the Family Learning Team on 0845 6019113.
