Adult and community education

We offer a variety of learning opportunities across the borough. Some of these are first steps in learning and learning for personal and community development, some to improve the basic skills of literacy, numeracy and language and some to support entry to the workplace.

These opportunities are available at various times and locations across Rochdale, Heywood, Middleton and Pennines. More advanced programmes of learning can be found at Hopwood Hall College.

Additional support is available for learners who have learning difficulties or physical disabilities.

Help can also be given to learners who speak or write English as their second language. If you wish to speak to somebody in a community language contact the Family Learning Team on 01706 710803.
