Skills Fair Proves Hit With Visitors

Over 800 people from across the borough got a chance to brush up
their skills at the 'Rochdale Skills and Learning Fair 2008' on
Monday at the Town Hall.
Adult learners week
The event, staged by Rochdale Borough Council, kicked off Adult
Learners' Week, a national celebration aimed at inspiring adults to
learn something new or update their skills.
Over 35 organisations including Hopwood Hall College, Learn
Local, the NHS, Surestart and Jobcentre Plus took part, offering
help and advice on a range of careers, training and jobs.
