How much will services cost me?
You do not have to pay for Supporting People support
if:
- You receive housing benefit
- You need support for a short time (up to two years)
The Supporting People team pays the provider of services
directly for the support they provide.
How to get help and support
If you need support that is planned for more than two years
and do not receive Housing Benefit, you may have to pay towards
this. A financial assessment will be carried out to find out how
much you may have to pay, towards the cost of your support.
The service providing your support will help you with this or
ring the Supporting People team, using the contact details on this
page, and ask for a Fairer Charging leaflet.
