Education - mentoring schemes
Youth Link Rochdale is a team of professional people from
a variety of backgrounds. We provide a one-to-one Mentoring
Service which may be long or short term (dependent upon need) for
young people aged 13-19 who are disaffected, disillusioned and
socially excluded.
We accept referrals from any agency dealing with young people
and from the young people themselves.
Our aim is to help young people return to education, training
and employment, but even more importantly, we hope to raise their
individual self esteem and empower them which will lead to
inclusion rather than exclusion.
We hope to develop a non-judgmental, supportive and on-going
relationship with the young people through regular contact on
a one-to-one basis.
