Foster carers come from all different walks of life. 
You can apply to be a foster carer regardless if you are in your
20s or your 60s, be employed or unemployed, single or in a
relationship - there really is no typical foster carer.
All applications are treated with equal fairness.
You can foster if you are:
- Aged over 21,
- Have a spare bedroom, and
- Can provide the care and support needed to look after a
child.
