Fostering
What is fostering?
Fostering is looking after a child or young person in your own
home at a time when they are unable to live with their own
families.
Across Rochdale borough we’ve over 150 foster carers providing
safe, happy and secure homes to children who really need them
...but we still need more carers!
There are many different fostering schemes you can apply
for, giving you options to choose which is best suited to you. From
fostering on a part time basis, such as one weekend a month, to
long term fostering, there are options to suit everyone.
