Health and social care

At risk residents urged to protect themselves from seasonal flu

Residents who are most at risk of developing serious complications from seasonal flu are being urged by NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale (HMR) to take advantage of a free jab.

 

Services for older people

As you get older some day to day tasks may become more difficult. We can arrange a number of services to help you, or the people who help care for you, when you find it difficult to manage in your own home. To receive services we must first assess your needs.

Assessment - help at home: We provide services including, home care, careline, meals, short term breaks, family support, disabled person's parking badge, equipment and home adaptations.

Other services for adults

Direct payments, carers, disabilities, residential carefostering and adoption, out of hours social services support.

Services for children and families

We can help with all areas relating to children aged 0-19 including childminding, activities for young people, foster care, parenting support, careers advice for your children.

Mental health

We provide a range of services to, and support for, people with mental illnesses and their carers.

Getting in touch with your local hospitals, GPs and dentists.
