COVID-19: how coronavirus is affecting local public services

We've introduced a range of measures to help protect the public from the developing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Use the A-Z on this page to access the latest service updates.

We're working with other public sector organisations, including local NHS services, the borough’s leisure and culture provider Link4Life, Rochdale Boroughwide Housing, the voluntary sector and police, to ensure that all possible actions to help safeguard people are being taken.

We'll maintain statutory services and contact people if they're going to be affected but we must stop some facilities to help stop the spread of the virus, and enable us to have enough staff available to support the most vulnerable.

We're focussing our services on the most vulnerable groups, including people aged over 70, to develop the borough’s response to the global pandemic.
