On Remembrance Sunday, local celebrities will be showcasing 'Let's hear it for the wee man', a musical concert in aid of the Mayor's Charity Appeal and the Poppy Appeal at the Magnificent Rochdale Town Hall. This concert will tell the true story of Northern Ireland's only recipient of the Victoria Cross, James Magennis.

This is a story of poverty, adventure and bravery tinged with sadness. Words and music are by our very own comedian Jimmy Cricket. Also starring in the show are actor Charles Lawson, actress and singer Sue Devaney and actor Nick Newbould.

How do I book tickets?
