To celebrate Dippy’s visit to Rochdale in 2020, we’ve created a garden that showcases some of the plants that were around when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Step back in time, discover the plants that outlived the dinosaurs and have a picture with our very own T-Rex.

Where is it?

The prehistoric garden is located on The Esplanade outside Rochdale Town Hall.

Do I have to book?

No. The garden is free to view and no booking is required. It is open 24/7 until after Dippy’s departure in summer 2020.
