British Cycling's premier road cycling event visits Rochdale during stage 8 and will arrive in the borough at approximately 12.45pm.
6 British UCI Continental teams will be battling for 4 places in the tour through a qualification process.

The route through Rochdale will be: Broad Lane, Oldham Road, Central Park, Wood Street, Molesworth Street, John Street, Newgate, The Esplanade, Dane Street, Mellor Street and Edenfield Road.
Where to watch the race
Spectators are encourage to come out and line the route to cheer on the peloton as it makes its way through the borough. Bring your flags and homemade banners down to cheer on the riders as they pass by.
For a great view of the race and perfect photo opportunities, come and soak up the race day atmosphere and cheer the riders on outside Rochdale Town Hall, or head over to Norden village to see them start the climb up Edenfield Road.
Come and cheer the riders on at Rochdale Town Hall, 10am-2pm.
