Local Development Framework - supplementary planning guidance notes
Status / Progress
Supplementary Planning Guidance Notes (SPGs) will be saved until
they are cancelled or superceded (for example, by revised
SPD
s or when
linked policies are reviewed or cancelled through new Development
Plan Document's).
Role of Supplementary Planning Guidance Notes
These are similar to Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) but
have been prepared under the old planning arrangements before the
Local Development Framework was introduced by the ‘Planning and
Compulsory Purchase Act 2004’. These

continue to be used to assist decision making on planning
applications.
