Sports - fishing information
Whether beginner or expert there are
opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy fishing
at Rochdale Countryside Service sites. All are stocked with
coarse fish including bream, tench, carp, roach and perch. Only
Hollingworth Lake and Rhodes Lodges in Middleton offer day permits,
other lodges and waters are privately run by angling societies and
are strictly members only unless stated otherwise. At these
venues there is no closed season, but fishing rules and regulations
apply and there are some restrictions on where you can fish,
therefore it is advisable to phone in advance for more
information.
