Food labelling and composition
Trading Standards aims to ensure that food for human consumption
meets appropriate quality standards, is correctly labelled and
described.
Food labels are there to give us information on what we are
eating - this gives us, as the consumers, more of a choice. There
are regulations that prevent manufacturers giving misleading
food labels.
