Our Mission
Statement is "Learn to Live - Live to Learn" and the
school promote good conduct, justice, fairness and equality,
exemplified by all staff, who recognise the importance of a
positive climate.
We aim to create an atmosphere where all our pupils can feel
safe and secure in a caring and responsive environment and where
every child will be valued as an individual and will be encouraged
to develop as fully as possible. Our expectations are highlighted
by means of our simple rules:
- Speak Politely - shouting, arguing,
interrupting, name-calling, swearing and abuse is not
acceptable.
- Move Safely - line-up sensibly, walk around
school, when required stay in your seat, room, play-area and school
boundaries.
- Act Carefully - Keep your hands and feet to
yourself, leave other people’s property alone, follow instructions
and cause no interference, disruption or harm to others.
Moorhouse have achieved Healthy School Status and an Eco-School
Award.
