Situated next to Greenbank Primary School on Greenbank Road,
Syke, Greenbank Sure Start Children’s Centre offers a convenient
and safe environment for families with children aged 0 – 5
years. There are excellent indoor and outdoor play facilities
and friendly, fully qualified staff.
Typical sessions include:
- Garment making
- Stay and play with the toy and book loan
service
- Futures café for parents to chat about training and
learning opportunities
There is a warm welcome to mums, dads, grandparents and carers
with children aged 0 – 5. Childminders and those who look
after children are also very welcome. Greenbank run a very
popular family literacy course and also are available in the
community through a drop in session at Whitworth Road Community
Association on Thursday afternoons.
