Situated next to Deeplish Community School on Hare Street,
Deeplish Sure Start Children's Centre offers a convenient and safe
environment for 0 – 5 year olds and their parents / carers. There
are excellent indoor and outdoor play facilities.
Deeplish works together with Castlemere to make up the Deeplish
and Castlemere Campus.
Both Children’s Centres welcome all families regardless of
background, culture, lifestyle or family make up. There is a warm
welcome to mums, dads, grandparents and carers with children aged 0
– 5 years. Childminders and those who look after children are
also very welcome.
The centres offer a variety of sessions for parents and children
to spend quality time together in a structured play
environment. There are also sessions just for parents i.e.
courses and sessions for just children (i.e. crèche).
Typical sessions at Deeplish include:
- Rattle and Roll - a session for babies and toddlers and
their carers with music, singing and dancing
- Childminder Group - a stay and play session for those
who care for children
- Courses - a variety of courses are available to
raise your awareness of child development, help give you skills to
deal with your children’s behaviour or to learn new skills for
yourself
- Stay and Play - quality play sessions for
children and carers
- Toy and Book Library - an opportunity to come along and
borrow a book or play activity to take home and return the
following week
