Boarshaw Children’s Centre
Opening Times:
8.30am – 5.30pm Monday - Friday
Situated on Stannycliffe Lane, next to Boarshaw Primary School,
Boarshaw Sure Start Children's Centre offers a convenient, safe,
family friendly environment for families with children aged 0 – 5
years. There are excellent indoor and outdoor play facilities
and an action packed timetable of specially planned activities
throughout the week.
Boarshaw is the main Children’s Centre, with Hollin Satellite
Centre branching from it. Sessions include:
- Fantastic Forest – outdoor adventures encouraging
natural play
- Breastfeeding Social Group – advice, information and
make new friends
- Family Fitness – workout for all ages at Cardinal
Langley Community Gym
There is a warm welcome to mums, dads, grandparents and carers
with children aged 0 – 5. Childminders and those who look
after children are also very welcome. Boarshaw offer sessions
just for children, sessions just for parents to relax, and sessions
where both children and parents can enjoy quality play time
together in a well planned structured environment. There is
also support for parents in seeking employment, stopping smoking or
other health related issues and professional clinics throughout the
week for anyone wanting advice. Look out for the special
events during the school holidays.
