Pride of Rochdale Borough
Volunteers from across the borough were honoured at the first
ever Pride of Rochdale Borough Awards on 27 September 2012
The Awards celebrated everyone from good neighbours to sporting
achievers, recognising the fantastic work that individuals, groups,
teams and organisations do on a voluntary basis to make the borough
a better place for everyone.
The Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor James Gartside and Leader of
the Council, Councillor Colin Lambert opened the evening and
entertainment was provided by Rochdale's Japanese Drummers, Tantara
