British Standards
Rochdale Libraries no longer subscribe to British Standards,
either in printed format or online.
We can still obtain many British and Foreign Standards for
existing library members through our Inter Library Loan scheme. If
you are not already a member you can join
online here
There is a £3 charge per standard for this service.
If you need a British Standard, please contact us at regional.libraryservice@rochdale.gov.uk or on
01706 924971 with the British Standard title and the Standard
number, along with your name, library membership number and a
contact number in case of query.
You can search the British Standards site
for titles and details.
The normal 3 week loan period should be available but as we will
be borrowing the Standard from elsewhere we will be subject to any
specific loan rules attached. Unfortunately we are unable to renew
the loan beyond this initial period.
The nearest Libraries that subscribe to British Standards Online
are Manchester
City Council Libraries or Lancashire County Council
Libraries. You will need to be eligible to join these
libraries before you can access their British Standards Online
services.
