The Big Clean - the campaign
where you tell us what pieces of land you want to
shine - is back for 2010!
We’ve teamed up with the Rochdale
Observer, Heywood Advertiser and
Middleton Guardian to tidy up the borough for the
new year.
Spotting rubbish as you walk past a local beauty spot,
children's playground, or even on the street can make your heart
sink or get you hot under the collar. Rubbish and flytipping ruin
areas and make them less pleasurable to live in and visit - but you
can help us do something about it! Whether you’re at school, at
work, part of a community or voluntary group - taking time out
to do a community litter pick will greatly help your local
environment and the people who live in it. Sign up today - and have
some fun too!

and businesses and from street furniture.
